Oh wow, that was a pain to draw. I kinda wanted to show the difference of personnality between Max and Monica ; while Max's just an average 13 years old boy, Monica had to grow up earlier and became more responsible and serious even though she's only 15.
In this picture, she's kind of looking down on him although in her inner self, she's thinking it'd probably be better if she could just forget about everything and play with them too.

Oh well, thats just me.

Lol you're welcome! I've played the second one like three or four times over. I'm still stuck on the first one! Why did they make it so difficult?! Fun but frustrating.

ahh yeah DC1 sure was difficult, I'm still not done with the Demon Shaft tbh (I wish I did but it takes so much time that my laziness always takes over, haha)

They made the weapon build-up so slow! And the fact you have to worry about how effective your weapon is against a monster type, the element attribute and then basic attack, magic, speed, and durability all separately is rather annoying when in the sequel it's dealt with all in one with elemental spheres. And its a lot harder to beat the dungeon bosses. I'm still stuck at queens simply because none of my characters' weapons are strong enough to take down Queen La Saiya affectively.

Haha, well! It was their first game after all, so I have to admit they made some mistakes :D I played DC1 first though so I can't really know how it feels like to play it after playing the second one, haha. I think DC1's system is more interesting and challenging, but yeah it makes things kind of difficult sometimes. Couldn't beat the game because of it when I was 9-10, so I was glad they made everything much easier in DC2. Now I just play DC1 when I need to play something challenging and 2 when I just want to relax, haha.

Yeah, that is true, it is a good challenge as opposed to the second and it was their first try. Yeah, I don't know what made me do it but I just recently got back into the dark cloud series. I'm playing the second one yet again while wondering how on earth these people can manage to defeat the bosses in the first in about two hits. Except spend lots and lots of time building up weapons, I guess. I have a thing I tend to disagree with a lot of fans on, and that's the shipping of Toan and Xioa. I just don't see it since Xioa is technically still part cat and she's too young for Toan; she seems like a five year old girl and Toan seems like he maybe at least 7-10 years older. And also I see them being more like brother and sister really. But I don't want to discourage anyone else from thinking it could happen but I just don't see it.
