Description
There’s this famous italian Disney comic called “Il Mistero dei Candelabri” that’s a parody of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables drawn by Giovan Battista Carpi and it’s been kinda stuck in my head for years so I eventually dug it out my magazine issues to take a look at Javert’s design ; he looked even better than how I remembered him, gosh;;;
That crow is called Yanez and was a character created by Carpi himself.
It's not my first time drawing anthro characters but...well, only the third time or something (I have some Doubleduck doodles in my scraps folder but they were only faces and drawn from reference, and that Scrooge shooting at Joker in my crossover pic) so it's pretty much like it. I'm happy with the result
I think crows are the only birds I'm able to draw correctly lmao
